This is the Toy Biz Captain American, the first "modern" kit I built. It has a lot more detail than the older Aurora kits--especially in the base and backdrop. (Dig Hitler's skull!)

The original kit had Cap on the right and the Red Skull on the left, so that all you saw was Cap's shield and the backs of their heads. I didn't like that (it hid their faces), so I flipped them 180 degrees for what I think is a lot better pose. (I also added the "leather" straps to the back of Cap's shield.)
