Michael Miller is a popular writer and commentator. He has authored more than 75 best-selling non-fiction books since 1989, and has written for numerous publishers, including Alpha Books, Course Technology, New Riders Publishing, Peachpit Press, Que, Sams, Sybex, and Wiley. Collectively, his books have sold more than one million copies, and have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He is known for his casual, easy-to-read writing style and his practical, real-world advice--as well as his ability to explain a wide variety of complex topics to an everyday audience. 

Mr. Miller was also a senior writer/editor for The New York Times Guide to Essential Knowledge, contributing to the Classical Music, Computers, Photography, and Science sections of that book. His personal blog is called The Curmudgeon Speaks; he also maintains blogs for several of his books.
