Christopher Reeve Superman

This kit is a recast of the long out-of-print IDC Christopher Reeve Superman, mirroring a pose in the original Superman movie. (Actually, the pose is from a promo photo for the film.)

This was a pretty straight forward kit, nice pose, good sculpt, decent facial likeness, simple brick base. Nothing fancy at all.

For such as straight forward kit, I went with a straight forward paint job. No washes or dry brushing, save for the skin. Just fairly bold colors, to emulate the colors used in the film.

Not my favorite kit, but a good addition to the collection.
