This is the 1974 Comic Scenes reissue of the classic 1960s Aurora kit. This is one of my later projects; note the increased detail all around, particularly on the tree bark, the eagle's feathers, and the snake and other items on the ground.

The original kit had Tonto facing straight back, which didn't make any sense; he wasn't looking at anything, and the back of his head was to the audience. So I modified the kit by turning him 90 degrees to look at the eagle. This involved substantial building onto the base with modeling putty, but makes for a better pose.
